Al Aman Fund uses technology and new ideas to improve the donation experience and meet the needs of different donors. These tools help shift donation methods from traditional boxes to more interactive and convenient options.

One example is our Point-of-Sale (POS) devices placed at checkout counters in stores. Donations can be made through electronic cards with a simple tap, without the need for coins or cash.

The Empty Chair Initiative

Al Aman Fund launched The Empty Chair to engage students in supporting orphaned youth education. By raising funds for a university scholarship, students symbolically “fill” an empty chair presented at their graduation

One success story comes from Grade 11 and 12 students from the Modern Montessori School carried out the initiative as part of their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) program, successfully sponsoring Omar, who is now studying Applied English at Yarmouk University.

The Snowball Initiative

The Snowball Initiative is a social program for students in Grades 4 to 10 that builds leadership, teamwork, and a spirit of giving. Each class works together to raise the full tuition cost for an orphaned youth. The name reflects how small efforts can grow—like a snowball—as more people join in, showing the power of collective action to create lasting change.
