PwC and Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans Strategic Partnership to Empower Orphaned Youth through Technology

PwC Middle East in Amman and Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans proudly announce a strategic partnership with the launch of the first fully equipped computer lab for Al Aman Fund students at its headquarters. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Michel Orfali, Territory Senior Partner of PwC Jordan, Ms. Noor Al-Hamoud, General Manager of Al Aman Fund, alongside teams from both organizations and several orphaned students.

This partnership seeks to empower orphaned youth by enhancing their digital knowledge and technological skills. The new computer lab is a sustainable initiative aimed at providing students with access to digital training via the “Kubicle” professional platform for one year. Additionally, PwC’s expert consultants will conduct specialized workshops to equip Al Aman Fund graduates with skills for employment. This reflects PwC Middle East’s commitment to social responsibility in Jordan. The lab is fully outfitted with computers and a conducive learning environment to support students’ educational growth.

During the opening ceremony, Mr. Michel Orfali delivered an inspiring speech, sharing his personal success story to motivate the students to take their first steps in life with confidence, strength, and hope. The Human Resources advisory team also trained students on essential skills, such as preparing resumes, applying for job opportunities, conducting interviews, and using artificial intelligence tools. Additionally, these students will be given priority for employment at PwC if they meet the company’s criteria, creating pathways for job opportunities and success stories through this partnership.

The “Kubicle” platform allows students to choose courses and schedules that fit their needs, helping them develop critical technological skills. The courses focus on high-demand tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, and Tableau, which are essential in today’s job market. PwC will monitor student attendance to ensure they maximize the benefits of the training provided.

Ms. Noor Al-Hamoud expressed her heartfelt thanks to PwC Middle East and Mr. Michel Orfali for their dedicated commitment. She noted that this partnership reflects PwC’s responsibility in Jordan to support the education of orphaned students. Their continued participation in educational and humanitarian initiatives underscores their commitment to sustainable community development and promoting values of solidarity and cooperation. Al-Hamoud emphasized that the greatest gift to Al Aman Fund students is the empowerment of knowledge and technology, which enables them to integrate into society, pursue education, and develop themselves for the future.

It is noteworthy that PwC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, has also established computer labs in several youth centers in remote areas of Jordan. This initiative aims to keep students connected to online learning and provide a conducive study environment. So far, PwC has set up six labs across different locations, equipped with refurbished laptops, serving as educational hubs for youth and contributing to improved access to technological resources.
