Marriott International properties in Jordan join forces to host Feast of Six culinary event

Amman, Jordan – September xx, 2022 – In support of its recent partnership with Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, Marriott International’s properties in Amman and the Dead Sea are coming together to host an unforgettable culinary event, the Feast of Six, on Saturday, October 1, at The St. Regis Amman. In addition to The St. Regis Amman, five other Marriott International properties will be taking part in the event: W Amman, Amman Marriott Hotel, Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel, Dead Sea Marriott Resort & Spa, and the hotel group’s latest addition to its local portfolio, The Ritz-Carlton, Amman.

During the Feast of Six, visitors will embark on a vibrant, delectable culinary journey, indulging in a diverse array of dishes and cuisines from around the world—all masterfully prepared by the hotels’ expert culinary teams. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Al-Aman Fund, in order to provide much-needed financial assistance to orphans across the Kingdom. As part of Marriott International’s ongoing commitment to serving the world, the hotel group recently signed an agreement with Al-Aman Fund, formalizing their efforts to support the non-profit organization. The agreement was signed by Erden Kendigelen, the new council chairman and Multi-property General Manager at Marriott International, Muhannad Hameed cochairman of the council and Noor Al-Homoud, General Manager of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans.

Commenting on the occasion, Marriot International Group’s Council Chairman said, “As Jordan’s Business Council we are proud and honored to have signed this long-term partnership that will leave its impact within the local communities’. It will be our utmost concern to support her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah aim to provide education to the orphans and assist in their practical engagement in within the society and the workforce”

The General Manager of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, Noor Al-Homoud, praised Marriott International, as well as its management and employees, for their interest in supporting Al-Aman Fund and its various programs. She explained that the partnership underscores the importance of investing in the youth across all segments of society. Al-Homoud finished off by saying that Al-Aman Fund is grateful for the support it receives from the private sector, as this support is vital to the achievement of the organization’s goal of giving orphans a brighter future.

The upcoming Feast of Six marks the second time that Marriott International has hosted this kind of collaborative culinary event in support of a good cause. In 2019, the group hosted the Feast of Five at the Amman Marriott Hotel.
